The leaders also made a courtesy call to the honorable minister for Fisheries and Livestock Mr Abdul Latif Biswas MP at his office on 19 May 2011. The ministers congratulated the newly elected body and hope that they will continuously contribute to the development of agriculture of Bangladesh. The body also thanked to the ministers for giving their valuable time.

The KIB leaders handed over the honorary Life membership of KIB to the Prime minister on this occasion. The Prime Minister told the leaders to make a significant contribution to the agricultural sectors of Bangladesh with their expertise. She will also extended her cooperation to the leaders achieving this objectives. The leaders expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the honorable PM for giving her valuable time in spite of her busy schedule.
